3、 Operating instructions

In the basic mode single angle measurement interface, press and hold the "switch / measurement key" for 3 seconds to start the machine. The indicator will light up and the logo interface will be displayed. After a few seconds, the instrument will automatically enter the measurement interface. After power on, press and hold the "switch / measurement button" again for 3 seconds to shut down. If the instrument is not operated within 5 minutes, the instrument will enter the rest screen state; If the instrument is not operated within 1 minute after the screen is stopped, the instrument will shut down automatically.

Calibration：

This instrument has the function of automatic calibration upon startup, but in order to make it more convenient and flexible to use the instrument, the function of automatic calibration upon startup is designed. That is, when the last shutdown was manual, the next startup will be automatically calibrated; When the last shutdown was automatic after 5 minutes of screen rest, the next startup will not be automatically calibrated.

Communication with PC：

The instrument needs to be powered on first, and then plugged in the USB cable to connect to the PC. at this time, the instrument can be charged or automatically connected to the upper computer software, and the glossmeter can be measured and controlled through the upper computer software. (the premise is that the upper computer software is correctly installed on the PC, and the upper computer software and installation instructions are in the attached CD.) the print glossmeter is connected to a special micro printer, and the measurement data can be automatically printed during measurement.

4、 Description of function expansion of upper computer software

After connecting the instrument with the upper computer software, the upper computer can operate the instrument as follows

(1) Query status; (basic information of the instrument, such as: instrument model, instrument Sn code, etc.)

(2) Perform calibration;

(3) Modify the calibration value; (operate carefully, preferably by the manufacturer or a qualified Metrology Research Institute)

(4) Measurement;

(5) Data management; (view records, delete records, export records, print reports)

(6) Set time and date;

(7) Set language;

(8) Set whether the measurement is automatically saved or not.

5、 Daily maintenance of instruments

(1) This instrument is a precision optical instrument. Please keep and use the instrument properly. Avoid using and storing the instrument in humid, strong electromagnetic interference, strong light and dusty environment. It is recommended to use and store the instrument in a standard laboratory environment (temperature 20 ℃, 1 standard atmospheric pressure, humidity 50 ~ 70% RH).

(2) The standard plate is a precision optical element, which should be properly kept and used to avoid hitting the working surface with sharp objects, soiling the working surface with dirt, and exposing the standard plate to strong light. Clean the standard board workers regularly with a soft wiping cloth dipped in alcohol.
