Description:

Dynamic Cone Penetrometer is designed to obtain a direct and rapid in -situ evaluation of the structural strength of road pavement layers constructed with unbound materials.

The equipment consists of:

Features:

• Portable, hand-operated equipment.

• The DPC Penetrometer results can be compared and interpreted with CBR (California Bearing Ratio) as per sperimental Kleyn 1982 studies.).

• Field calibration of a portable dynamic cone penetrometer was made to determine a penetration resistance relationship with the standard penetration resistance.

• The penetrometer has been found useful in the inspection of footing foundations and for light field exploration where the standard penetration range of limits is generally known
