1、 Applicable standards

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T3536-1991 "Determination of Flash Point and

Ignition Point of Petroleum Products" (Cleveland Open Cup Method) for petroleum and petroleum product testing methods.

This instrument is also applicable to JTJ052-2000 Highway Code T0611-1993 "Asphalt Flash Point and Ignition Point Test" (Cleveland Open

Cup Method), international standard ISO-2592 test method, and American Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTMD92 test.

2、 Purpose and Scope of Application

This instrument is suitable for measuring the flash point and ignition point of viscous petroleum asphalt, coal tar pitch, and liquid petroleum asphalt materials with a flash point above 79 ℃ using the Cleveland Open Cup (COC) to evaluate construction safety.
